Seminar

This is about 2 years old, but it was the most fun I ever had making art (if that’s what you call it!). I photocopied this poster that I made up onto orange paper and hung them on all of the message boards and doors in Brown Hall (the Science Building on campus). I even got some responses!
Here is the text that appears on the poster (if you can’t read it):
VISITING LECTURER SERIES
This March please welcome:
Dr. Majumdar Abdullah-Al-Kafi, Ph.D and Dr. Fumisuke Matsuo, M
Have you ever traveled to the Fifth Dimension?
I bet you have! Now it can be proven
ABSTRACT
The Fifth Dimension, formerly thought to be only theoretically possible, has now been proven to exist.
Using the groundbreaking technique of Intuitive Mathematics, Dr. Majumdar Abdullah-Al-Kafi Ph.D,has discovered the art of representing abstract concepts in what he has coined ‘Thought-Space’ (aka. the Fifth Dimension). From its birth in the minds of Theodor Kaluza and Oskar Klein, to the creation of Dr. Abdullah-Al-Kafi’s innovative new system called Intuitive Mathematics and its application to representing human emotion, all will be discussed. There will be a question and answer period after the lecture.
Following the question and answer period will be a brief talk (by invitation only) by world renowned
neurophysiologist Dr. Fumisuke Matsuo who will probe the neurological origins of ‘Thought-Space’ in the brain’s synaptic functions and how humans are able to access this curled-up dimension through ion channels.
ETSU is fortunate to have Drs. Abdullah-Al-Kafi and Matsuo speak on their limited engagement
schedule on their first ever tour of the United States.
Refreshments will be served.
TIME/DATE: To be determined by the tour schedule. Space WILL BE LIMITED, so please email:

AND HERE ARE THE RESPONSES (names omitted intentionally to save them possible embarrassment):

Hi,
Has a date been determined yet? or has it already passed? I’m typically clueless… but if I may reserve a spot that clue may come.
