Cosm (Part II)

This is the second part of the Cosm installation. What you see here are digital prints that I cut out and then adhered to both sides of the glass windows separating both galleries. The imagery derives from Microcosm. Microcosm is a repeating pattern and the second part of Cosm shown here is just one tile of that pattern.

May I be the first to say that it’s pretty, just so we can get that out of the way.

Wig: I do have to say that at first I was taken aback by Sue’s comment on the previous post — but, I found it extremely interesting that she would see it as pretty, because that was probably the last thing I had intended! Perhaps subconsciously I had intentionally imparted it with a certain elegance or ‘prettiness’. But, I guess in the end, all art inevitably takes on certain aspects of its creator because, ‘My face is so pretty!’
